I was a little unsure of what LIFETRITION was going to hold for me. All I knew is that I felt a strong tug at my heart to take part in it. The biggest thing that I got out of it was the teaching on Song of Solomon. There was a real detox that took place in my soul which caused my spirit to soar. My passion for the Word of God increased like never before in my life due to the challenges I was presented with. It is refreshing to have a 'Boot Camp' that really focuses on your spirit and soul, as most of the world focus on the exterior. I believe the weakest parts of us come from within: insecurity, fear, lust etc. and seeing them exposed and faced was beautiful. Sometimes we are afraid to look at our ugliest parts so we just ignore them. This is why Boot Camp was so great, as it made you look at them! I saw my mentality change from negative to positive. God invaded my world in a new way and lifted me up to His. Being a singer and also a tennis coach, the food part for me was refreshing - as I love nutrition - so it was a delight to eat raw vegan. Some days were hard, but you push through. It's awesome to see the power of your mind over body - you can teach yourself and discipline yourself that with God's help nothing is impossible! 

Doing this as a group is also powerful! You receive daily encouragements, you can pray for one another, meet new people and see God move tangibly in not only your life but others' too. 

I am launching my single and EP this year, and this was definitely a strategic plan to take part in LIFETRITION before the release - I didn't know it at the time, but looking back it is so obvious. LIFETRITION forces you to focus, prioritize and get things in order. It's great as you find yourself thinking clearer and acting wiser. :) Thank you, Jodi, for all your encouragement in this!
